No Longer Running A Drug Cartel But On Fire For Jesus

I used to help oversee a drug cartel in Sydney, Australia for the triads. Through the Lord’s intervention, I got saved while in prison. A very well–meaning pastor then taught me to work for my salvation. He also warned me about grace–filled churches and false doctrines. By the time I got out of prison, I was ready to work for God and give my life to Him as a slave.

Eventually, living under the law made me feel like a failure as I could never meet God’s standards. In the past, I could win victories for my boss through large drug deals or taking new territory. But in this “new gang”, I could not even win against myself. I finally gave up, left church and went back to selling drugs.

Two years later in 2007, a friend from church gave me some “new teachings” he had stumbled upon. It was a whole series of Pastor Prince’s teachings on grace. But I did not listen to the sermons immediately until I was hurt really badly by my girlfriend at that time and my drug business went bust. I no longer lived like a drug lord, but like a junkie.

I cried and cried and ended up listening to Pastor Prince’s sermon CDs. That gave me the courage to go back to the Lord and I started attending a church in Sydney.

Today, I am fully restored. I got a university degree, married a wonderful wife, and we are both serving in church. I have also overcome my addictions and my mind has been renewed.

I want to thank Pastor Prince from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to shine the amazing light of God’s grace.

Pain In Shoulder Healed After Healing Prayer In Service

On a rainy day in October 2014, I slipped and fell on my side with full force. I didn't notice anything at first because I was more concerned with trying to get the attention of my friend. Once I was seated in the train on my way home, I felt an intense pain in my right shoulder. Over the course of the next few days, the pain intensified until I could barely move my right arm without wincing.

I believed God for my healing and faithfully partook of the Holy Communion. The pain in my shoulder remained and I could not play the cello, but I persevered and asked God to make my shoulder well enough so that I could at least play the cello in church as a volunteer in November and December.

Although the pain continued through the new year, I was thankfully able to play the cello in church at about 70 per cent of my usual ability. I thanked God for that, but I knew He wasn't finished yet.

On 11 January 2015, Pastor Prince prayed for healing and mentioned that there was someone with a frozen shoulder. I felt that he was referring to me! During the prayer, I felt an intense warmth in my shoulder, right on the spot where I had been injured.

Immediately after that, I felt an improvement but the shoulder was still not completely healed. I continued to tell myself that my healing was on the way and that it had already begun. I believed firmly that Jesus has paid for my healing and that the affliction does not belong in my body.

Today, a week later, I have full motion in my shoulder and can play the cello again. In fact, I feel even stronger than before. All praise to Jesus!

New Creation Church’s Top GCE O-Level Scorer With 10 Distinctions

The year of restful increase, 2010 was the year I sat for my O-level examinations. Even though O-level is usually a time when students would be very stressed from studying, I am truly grateful for the messages preached by Pastor Prince, Pastor Benjamin, Pastor Joe and my youth leaders that taught me to put my entire trust in Jesus and His finished work instead of striving and being self-reliant.

Throughout my examination preparation, I was able to study without feeling stressed or worried. I could even study for long periods of time, yet be at rest because I had built my trust solely on Jesus and not on how much I had studied. I thank God for the opportunity to continue serving in my DARE group because every time I served, I would feel refreshed and strengthened. It was definitely supernatural that I was able to continue serving in the midst of the examinations. God was faithful to multiply and restore the time that I had spent serving for my studies.

During my revision, I would pray in the Spirit whenever I felt nervous and I would be filled with a supernatural peace. During the examinations, I would anoint my papers, proclaiming what Jesus had already accomplished on the cross, and that my results were never going to be determined by what I had written but by His unmerited favour. In retrospect, my examinations felt so fulfilling because I did it with Jesus. In fact, I found my O-level examinations to be the most fun and restful examinations I had ever taken, praise God!

I would like to give all glory and honour to God for my results because truly it is He who did it for me. I am amazed by how much favour I had with the examination markers despite the mistakes I had made on my papers. His grace is greater than my errors! When I received my results, I could not help but feel pleasantly surprised. Even though I had a confident expectation of good, I did not expect to attain such excellent results. 10 distinctions with eight A1s and two A2s! Indeed, God exceeds our expectations! To God be the glory and the best is yet to be!
