Mother Unharmed In Car Accident
On 20 February 2010, I was awoken by a disturbing dream early in the morning. I felt prompted to say a prayer of protection for my family, and so I declared the blood of Jesus over my family members before I went back to sleep.
At about 10am, I woke up again and I still felt the prompting to pray for my family. So I said a quick prayer to thank God for His protection and blessing over everyone in my family.
Half an hour later, my mother called home and said that she had been in a road accident earlier. A truck had rammed into the taxi she was in. The back portion of the taxi was crushed and its back window was shattered. Although she had been sitting in the back seat of the taxi, she walked away unharmed!
Praise Jesus! We have no doubt that it was the Lord’s divine protection and His perfect timing that have kept my mother safe and protected. Hallelujah!

Divine Protection In Spite Of Faulty Tyre
My mother and I visited my sister in Germany last August and we had a good time of fellowship and bonding. We even partook of the Holy Communion every afternoon!
During the third week of our stay, we decided to drive to Amsterdam to buy some groceries as they have a lot of Asian food stores there. My two nephews happily volunteered to drive us.
Before leaving, I prayed for God to be with us, and laid hands on the car. We started off early in the morning and arrived at Amsterdam just in time to enjoy an early lunch. We bought groceries and later went to have some dim sum before heading back home. My sister Mayling bought multiple servings of dim sum as well as three boxes of beef kuay teow to bring home! As such, we left in a small car that was loaded with five adults and plenty of food!
After two hours of driving, the car suddenly started to rattle and shake violently. The boys joked that we were getting a massage on the ride home. The rear wiper was tapping very hard and I thought that something must be wrong with the car’s suspension system or the tyres. We made a stop at a rest area and checked the tyres but they looked okay. We even gave the tyres a few hard kicks!
We figured that since the car was old, it was probably due to a technical glitch. We prayed and asked God to protect us as we continued our journey home. My mother then told us in Hokkien that we should pray in tongues and we did so.
Upon reaching the German border, we took a break at a rest area. This time, the boys decided to remove all the tyres and they found the left rear tyre deformed and bloated. The spare tyre was installed but this spare tyre was worn out and not fully inflated. We drove on and continued praying in tongues. We came across a petrol station but they didn’t have an air pressure gauge! Another petrol station we passed by was closed as it was already late.
The ride home took much longer than expected as we could only drive at 85-90km/hr instead of 160 km/hr. We caught the second last ferry and arrived home past 11.30pm. We realised later that the dim sum and beef kway teow takeaways we bought in Amsterdam were “prepared” by God in advance for us to feast on because we were getting hungry! We were thankful that we had arrived safely without incident. The faulty tyre could have caused the car to overturn if driven at high speed. God graciously protected us all the way home from Amsterdam, and we praise and thank Him for blessing us mightily. God’s favour was definitely upon us and we want to acknowledge that!

Driver And His Car Supernaturally Protected In Accident
On the evening of 15 September 2009, I was driving home after work. I was making a left turn when a luxury sedan car hit my car so hard that it careened off the road and hit the divider.
Stunned and amazingly unhurt, I drove to a bus bay further up. For some unexplained reason, I was certain that somehow everything was going to be all right. After I had pulled over, followed by the other driver, we got out of our cars to inspect the damage.
With a puzzled look, he asked, “I hit your car, right?” I nodded and then we examined each another’s car. A while later, he asked again, “I hit your car, right?” When I replied “yes”, this time he asked, “But where is the damage?”
I pointed to my driver’s side door as I was very certain that was where his car hit mine. Astonishingly, both of us could not locate any scratch, dent or damage on both our cars! As his car was rather dusty, a layer of dirt appeared on my driver’s side door. After wiping off the dirt with a piece of tissue, there was not even a single scratch mark beneath!
I do not know much about the types of cars which have hardier parts nor wish to explain things in the natural. All I know is that the impact of the crash was serious enough for severe damages, even though I escaped unscathed.
What can I say in the face of grace? I can only humbly bow down and worship our Lord. Thank you, Pastor Prince, for revealing the heart of our Father in your messages.

Baby Boy Protected As Glass Door Shattered
On the morning of 28 July 2009, my one-year old son, Gabriel, was sitting on the kitchen floor next to the glass door separating the kitchen and pantry area of our home. At that time, the door was closed and I was sitting on a bar stool less than 2 metres from where he was, reading my newspapers.
What happened next was something that I would never have been able to avert, no matter how quick my action was. Apparently, Gabriel slid open the door. I looked up only when I heard the glass door hitting the wall. In that split second, I froze as I watched the 2-metre high tempered glass door bounce and shatter into countless pieces.
When I picked Gabriel up, I saw blood trickling down the front of his head. I was fearful as his head was covered with lots of fine glass fragments. But my wife and I knew that he was all right when he stopped crying after two minutes or so. He was asking for food, while we were brushing the fragments off his head, hands and feet.
We brought Gabriel to the paediatrician and he told us that Gabriel was very lucky because he didn’t require any stitches. When we came back from the clinic and looked at the broken glass pieces on the floor, we were amazed and grateful to our Daddy God that His angels made sure most of the fragments, especially the big ones, fell in the pantry, instead of the kitchen where Gabriel was sitting. Even our part-time helper, who helped us to clear the mess, called Gabriel a miracle baby. We know that it was Jesus’ blood that protected Gabriel. All praise be to God!

Protected From Typhoon Morakot
My wife and I were holidaying in Taiwan from 31 July to 8 August 2009. We decided to visit southern Taiwan since we had been to northern Taiwan before. We had been touring for only a few days when we received news that Typhoon Morakot was approaching.
The weather started to change, and there was fog and rain. We didn’t know what to expect as we had never experienced a typhoon before. But we prayed that the typhoon would not hit the areas we would be touring.
On 7 August 2009, Typhoon Morakot hit Taiwan. By then, we had returned to Taipei. The winds were strong and the rain hit us from every direction, such that umbrellas were of little use.
What got us a little worried was that the airport was closed. We were so relieved to catch a flight back to Singapore on the evening of 8 August 2009. Flights in the morning had been delayed, but were resumed that afternoon.
Later on, we found out from the news that the places we had visited days before had been flooded and either damaged or buried. Thank God for His protection!

God’s Protection During An Overseas Trip
I was in China from 27 February to 4 July 2009 for an overseas immersion programme organised by my school. Our itinerary included a two-day trip to Yichang,
We were scheduled to go river rafting on the first day. I was travelling in a bus with 40 other Singaporeans to the rafting location. While travelling along the mountain highway, the left side of our bus crashed into some rocks, and the windows near my seat were totally shattered. There were glass shards everywhere.
I thank God that I was safe and that no one on the bus sustained any serious injuries except for some minor cuts and bruises. If the accident had happened further up the highway, the bus would most probably have plummeted down the mountain.
I am indeed thankful for God’s grace and His protection over us. A few other Christians were also aboard the bus and we believe that God had protected the entire bus because of us. I remember applying anointing oil on myself before I set off in the morning. God is good!
