For the past eight years, underprivileged children at Sahabumrung Wittaya School in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, were able to attend school thanks to financial support from New Creation Church. In 2013 alone, a total of 170 children aged three to 17, had benefitted from this sponsorship programme and are exposed to the good news of Jesus' finished work through their school’s weekly chapel services and Bible Study lessons.
From 10 to 13 June 2013, Pastor Lawrence Lim and 30 volunteers from our church’s Outreach Ministry, visited these sponsored children and conducted a three-day Bible Camp in their school. During the camp, 1137 students from Kindergarten One to Grade Eleven were taught that they are always accepted and cared for by Jesus.

Our team also took the chance to visit some of the sponsored children and their families, distributing food packages and sharing the gospel with them. At one home, a sponsored child sang the song Daddy God to her great-grandmother. The presence of the Lord was so strong that the elderly matriarch received Christ on the spot!

At the end of the four-day trip, a whopping 878 first-time salvations were recorded, among whom were the school’s students, teachers and the families of children who benefitted from our sponsorship programme. Praise the Lord for the great harvest of souls!
