On Sundays, they would appear at the most inconspicuous places, keeping watch over everyone who steps foot into New Creation Church. Scanning through every nook and cranny of our service venues, nothing could escape the eagle eyes of our Security & Safety servers from the Royal Service Ministry.
On Saturday, 2 November 2013, this group of faithful servers put aside their austere selves and brought 61 students from New Town Primary School to the S.E.A. Aquarium.
It’s time to let their hair down. Way to go, security servers!
Being under the school’s financial assistance scheme, many of the children had never been to the aquarium. According to church staff, Nancy Jensen, the trip was an eye-opener for the kids.
“They were so excited and screaming away when we entered the oceanarium! Our four girls were practically stuck to the glass tanks and it took me and my partner almost five minutes to pull them away!”

To the seven- and eight-year olds, touring the world’s largest sea aquarium was an adventure like no other. The fascinating marine life, got the kids marvelling over God’s creation and aroused their curiosity. Throughout the trip, our volunteers were constantly besieged by their countless questions.
Fortunately, for business manager, Malaravan Ron, his experience in scuba diving helped him to answer even the toughest one on the shark’s living habits. When he started explaining to his two young buddies, they were simply blown away!
Totally absorbed in their learning.

At the end of the trip, the volunteers were amazed at the children’s enthusiasm. Raymond Lim was among the volunteers inspired by the simple joy demonstrated by the kids. “Their childlike faith was so precious. Seeing how my buddy took in everything I said reminds me of our Daddy God who wants us to wholly trust in Him. Praise the Lord for this wonderful chance to see through His eyes. Thank You, Abba God!”
