Truly age is no barrier when it comes to giving. Over two Saturdays, on 13 December and 20 December 2014, New Creation Church members of all ages showed up across the island to share God’s love in a practical way.
The Gift Of Love 2014 event saw families, friends and loved ones come together to buy, pack and distribute gift packs containing daily essentials like soaps, toothbrushes, and milk to those in need.

Church member Janice Tan was grateful for the experience. “The elderly lady we visited was so appreciative of the gift pack we brought her and she kept thanking us again and again,” Janice said. “It really warmed my heart to see the joy on her face. May the Lord bless her and all the recipients and keep them healthy!”
All in all, over 5,000 households were blessed by this meaningful outreach project. Recipients included families from Fei Yue Community Services, Kreta Ayer Seniors Activity Centres, Care Corner, Lions Befrienders, NTUC Eldercare, Sarah Seniors Activity Centre, WiCARE, Thong Kheng Welfare Services Society and Lakeside Family Services.
Special thanks to everyone who shared God’s love by contributing to the cost of the gift packs as well as those who took part in the packing and distribution. Thank you for making a difference!
