Sharing God’s Love In China

Between 21 and 31 August 2015, Pastor Mark Ng and our Chinese Ministry volunteers were in China to bring a touch of God’s love to the people.

There, they trekked through hilly terrain in remote areas to visit the rural orphans our church is sponsoring. Many of the children live with their grandparents and the team also took time to minister to the elderly.

At a local church service on Sunday, Pastor Mark unveiled God’s love and shared about Jesus’ willingness to bless and heal His children. Some 20 precious people received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour on that day. Praise the Lord!

Pastor Mark also spent five days with some 50 pastors and leaders at a training seminar. Besides imparting grace-based leadership principles, he also encouraged the attendees to be rooted in Christ’s love and to experience His unceasing fruitfulness in all that they do.

Unveiling The Father’s Love In Sarawak, Malaysia

Between 16 and 20 July 2015, Pastor Mark Ng, our Chinese Ministry pastor, was in Kuching, the capital of the Malaysian state of Sarawak, to minister to 240 pastors, leaders and believers at an annual grace seminar.

Themed “Love Is Willing”, this year’s seminar comprised 11 sessions led by Pastor Mark, and is centered on unveiling Jesus as the grace gift from our loving heavenly Father. Last year’s seminar, also helmed by Pastor Mark, was so impactful that a group of 30 from Doha, Qatar flew in to join the seminar this year.

In the span of one year, High Priest Church, the host of the seminar, has also seen the fruits of grace in its ministry. Inspired by the grace teachings Pastor Mark imparted at the seminar in 2014, the children’s ministry pastor of the church developed and launched a grace-based curriculum for the kids.

Nine-year-old Kenneth Voon is a testament to the success of this grace-based programme in High Priest Church. Born with a cleft lip (a congenital split in the upper lip), Kenneth had speech problems and difficulties socialising with other children when he first came to church about a year ago.

Ever since his immersion in the new curriculum, Kenneth has improved by leaps and bounds. Today, he not only speaks confidently, he has also made marked improvements in his studies, coming in first in his cohort when he used to be the last. Kenneth also delights in God’s Word and enjoys memorising Bible verses. Because of Kenneth’s transformation, his 28-year-old mum is also learning about the Bible through him!

On 19 July 2015, Pastor Mark also ministered and preached to a congregation of 300 at a Sunday service in High Priest Church, leading four new believers to Christ.

Praise the Lord for all the precious lives that have been transformed by His grace!
