Our church is blessed and privileged to be able to help the local community. In May 2016, we contributed S$25,000 to support North East Community Development Council’s (North East CDC) initiatives to help the underprivileged, elderly and those with special needs.
The money goes to programmes like Dedicated North East Ambulance which provides subsidised ambulance transport service to scheduled medical or dialysis appointments for the underprivileged residents who are wheelchair- or bed-bound, and North East School Meal Fund which helps provide meals for 1,800 disadvantaged students during school days.
In appreciation of our support for the North East CDC over the past year, New Creation Church was presented with the Community Give Back Awards 2016 on Wednesday, 25 May 2016. Chairman Deacon Matthew Kang represented our church at an appreciation event to receive the award from Mr Teo Ser Luck, Mayor of North East District.
