Some 30 migrant workers from the Humanitarian Organisation For Migration Economics (H.O.M.E), a charity in Singapore that cares for migrant workers and victims of human trafficking, were blessed at a Hort Park outing on 28 May 2016.
Organised by our volunteers, the event began bright and early at 8am, and was filled with fun activities to bring joy and cheer to the migrant workers. To give them an opportunity to build friendships, the workers were split into groups before they participated in games such as a treasure hunt.

An Indian worker was grateful for the outing as it gave her a break and took her mind off her problems, and in the process, she also got to know her friends better. Another worker from the Philippines shared that she had a lot of fun and enjoyed the team bonding games.
Lunch was arranged for the workers to enjoy a meal together near the park, and they went home with door gifts and the game prizes they had won.
