Rock Kidz (Children's Ministry)
Ministry Leader: Pastor Lim Lian Neo
We’ve named our children’s ministry Rock Kidz because we want our children to build their lives on Christ the Rock. At Rock Kidz, we build rock-solid kids who are secure in His love, know their significance in Christ and are strong in the Lord!
We hold in-person classes and online lessons to help your children encounter Jesus every weekend. In-person children's classes take place concurrently with our English services at The Star Performing Arts Centre and Marina Bay Sands Ballrooms on Sundays.
Welcome! We can't wait to have your child join us to encounter Jesus on Sunday! No booking is required to attend our classes.
However, you will need to create a Rock Kidz account for your child prior to his/her first visit.

ENSURING A SAFE CHURCH FOR OUR CHILDREN
At Rock Kidz, we are committed not only to the spiritual growth of our children but also to creating a safe and secure environment where they can encounter Jesus freely. We prioritise their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being through clear safety policies, a culture of accountability, and continuous training for all our volunteers.
To protect our children, we have robust policies and procedures in place.
Comprehensive Screening
All staff and volunteers working with children undergo a rigorous screening process, including background checks, reference checks, interviews, and other assessments.
Safe Environments
We conduct health and bag checks and manage controlled access points to all children’s activity areas. Our ministry spaces are safeguarded by security personnel and monitored with CCTV cameras.
Secure Check-in & Check-out
We follow strict sign-in and sign-out procedures to ensure every child’s safe arrival and departure from church activities.
Emergency Preparedness
Rock Kidz has clear emergency response plans in place. Regular drills equip our staff and volunteers to respond effectively in the event of a crisis.
We believe child safety is a shared responsibility. Staff and volunteers are encouraged and empowered to report any concerns or suspicious behaviours through clear and confidential channels. All reports are taken seriously and followed up with timely and appropriate action.
Child-Safe Code Of Conduct
All staff and volunteers adhere to a child-safe code that includes the two-adult rule, safe toileting protocols, appropriate boundaries, and safe interactions.
Training & Equipping
New volunteers undergo comprehensive child safety training before they serve. Refresher sessions ensure everyone is well-equipped and aligned with current best practices.
As part of our commitment to safeguard our children, and build a culture of safety and accountability, our policies and practices are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that they remain relevant, effective and compliant with legal requirements. Our review processes include inputs from various stakeholders, including parents, our leadership team, staff and volunteers, to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach.
