Daughter Healed from Anorexia

My wife and I have been attending New Creation Church since 2003. We have three children — two girls and a boy. At the beginning of 2010, my teenage daughter started developing an obsessive fear of gaining weight. She would refuse to drink or eat regularly and lost 10kg in three months, from 42kg to 32kg. She looked frail and run-down, which was a far cry from her cheerful appearance in the past. We could even see her bones protruding from her body. She would also experience severe stomachaches. We were really worried about her, especially since she only had one kidney at birth. A trip to the doctor confirmed that she had anorexia, an eating disorder. We sought help from her school and church teachers but nothing worked. We were very frustrated and felt helpless.

My wife and I had signed up for an Israel trip that would take place in March 2010. We believed that it was God’s divine arrangement for Pastor Henry Yeo to be our Israel trip leader. We had previously brought our daughter to him to be prayed for after one of the Sunday services. On the trip, we would SMS our daughter regularly to check on her condition and to pray for her. Pastor Henry also prayed with us for our daughter’s healing during the trip. The Israel trip really grew our faith to put our trust in Jesus. Pastor Henry also reminded us of the power of praying in tongues and meditating on the Word. We prayed using the anointing oil and believed that no weapon, plague, or sickness formed against us shall prosper.

True enough, we received our daughter’s text messages in Israel assuring us that the Lord is with her and that she is feeling much better. When we came back to Singapore, we witnessed a gradual change in her food intake. Since then, she has gained more than 15kg! She looks great now! She eats well and indulges in many types of food, even ice cream. What a miraculous healing from God! Thank you, Jesus! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for teaching us that our part is to simply trust and believe that God is the same miracle-working God yesterday, today, and forever!
