God Answered Prayer For New Job

Around August 2018, Pastor Prince prayed for people who had lost their jobs and even encouraged them not to worry. 

I was one of those who had lost their jobs. Previously, I was a senior technical manager in a US-based company where I had been working for 19 years, and served as one of the pioneers who set up the Asia operations. Salary-wise, it was very good. But during the company’s restructuring exercise, I was asked to go, and I had been out of job since May 2018. 

I sent out almost 300 applications but only four called me up for an interview, and none were successful. 

I was 50 years old, and did not have a degree. It was hard for me to get a job even if I was mentally prepared to downgrade my position, and slash my pay by half. 

My wife had been very supportive. We often prayed together, seeking God to intervene. After each failed interview, I would tell myself that God has a better plan for me, and I just needed to keep my faith in Him. 

My wife and I continued to pray, and God finally answered our prayers. Through the recommendation of a friend, I successfully got a job with a US-based company, and started working with them since the end of September 2018. 

My salary is now higher than before, and I have also been given stock options as part of the deal. Till now, I still believe that this is a miracle from God.
