Experienced accelerated blessings in new job

Last year, due to various reasons, I had to leave my previous job without securing another one, even in the midst of a global recession. In the natural, it felt like I was taking a risk and doing a foolish thing, but deep down, I knew God that would provide. 

Months before my last day at work, I was contacted by a company for a chat. Everything went well but after that, I was informed that the company didn't have a position for me. I had every reason to be disappointed and discouraged, but somehow, there was an unexplainable peace within me. 

Weeks later, the same company contacted me and offered me a job that not only paid better than what I used to receive, but the scope and role were also what I enjoyed doing. 

That's not all! Towards the end of the year, just a few months into the job, I was offered a promotion to a management role with an increase in pay which I honestly did not expect as promotions like these would usually take years to happen! 

When I heard the theme of the year for 2022 was The Year Of Rest And Acceleration, I knew I had to write this testimony. Truly, I am blessed not because of what I have done, but because of God’s goodness. 

It is like what Pastor Prince always preaches—as God's beloved, we don't have to chase after blessings, but blessings will hunt and chase us down. Praise the Lord!
