Years of back pain healed after reading a devo

The first time I attended church was at The Star Performing Arts Centre. Back then, I remember crying uncontrollably during worship. I was told that I was touched by the Holy Spirit. Though I didn’t fully understand the sermon, I accepted Christ as Saviour. 

At that point in my life, I was suffering from a backache which I later found out was caused by a bulging vertebra. I had to learn to manage the pain and wear a back harness. Over time, the back pain worsened as I went through three pregnancies and two bad falls. I had been undergoing chiropractic treatments for years, but they could do nothing to relieve the pain. 

I remember when I was completely down, I would lie in bed for days. I was emotionally affected as I could not spend time with my children. 

One morning, I was awakened by a sharp pain on my back. I felt so lost and helpless by this pain that had incapacitated my life for years. At that instant, I received an email on my mobile phone. 

It was a devotional from Pastor Prince titled, “Get God’s Medicine In You”. The passage for the day was Proverbs 4:20–22, “My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.”

In the devo, Pastor Prince shared how George Muller, a man of God, enjoy a long and healthy life by following God’s ways.

I remember reading this devo and telling myself that I needed this. Then, I went back to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, the pain in my back was completely gone. 

I could get up from bed without any assistance! I had received a miracle healing from the Lord!

From then on, my family and I have been listening to Pastor Prince’s teachings and we have experienced many miracles, healing, and restorations in our lives. It has been an enriching journey.
