Better Than Wine

I had been struggling with depression, addiction, and fear since young. Though I am a believer, I was taught a mixture of law and grace. No matter how hard I tried to obey God’s commandments, I would fail again and again. I felt disqualified as a Christian. All the wrong beliefs also affected my marriage.

For 13 years, I kept having conflicts with my wife. One day, I left home for good and even contemplated divorcing my wife. But during this period, God spoke to me through Pastor Prince’s sermons.

I began to believe that I am a royal priesthood and a joint-heir of God with Christ. I also learnt that God’s love for me will never change no matter what I do. I started to declare that I am righteous in Christ, and stopped saying things that went against what Jesus did for me on the cross. Unconsciously, I was set free from depression, addiction, and fear!

One day, a video popped up on my phone. It was a message by Pastor Prince titled, The Year Of The Latter Rain. I clicked and watched the sermon, and when I saw a picture of a family reunion, I started to look forward to experiencing a miracle in my marriage. It seemed incredible but two days later, my wife and I met up.

That was in January 2022 and since then, we saw an acceleration of a harvest in our relationship. After 14 months of separation, our hearts were renewed. God didn’t fix my marriage, but give me a better one, like Jesus turning water into wine. This is the first time we feel peace, love and joy in our marriage. We are falling in love again! Everything seems incredible and like a dream. Thank you, Jesus!
