The Celebration Of Hope event is a beautiful picture of what happens when the body of Christ in Singapore comes together as one to reach out and share the living hope of Jesus.

Believers from some 200 churches all over Singapore joined in partnership—praying, serving and inviting loved ones and friends who had yet to receive the Lord.

Over seven sessions from 17 to 19 May 2019, well-known local and international personalities told their stories of how they'd found hope in Christ, singing and performing in honour of the One who saved them. Evangelist Canon J John spoke at the English rallies, sharing the gospel and God’s forgiveness through the cross.

Held at the National Stadium, more than 125,000 were in attendance at the event, with another 450,000 more unique viewers tuning in online via livestream.

It all came down to the final moments at each session, when the calls were made for those who needed the hope of Jesus Christ.

As the Lord whispered to hearts, ministered to hurts, and stirred spirits, people stepped out from their seats, streaming by the hundreds down the aisles to the centre of the stadium, with about 2,000 receiving Christ as their Lord and Saviour for the first time.

Our hearts were full, witnessing new hopes being ignited through Him at this historic event. Heaven looks to be shaping up to be quite a crowd.
