National Day Celebrations 2019
We love Singapore! At our services on Sunday, 4 August 2019, we celebrated in advance our beloved nation’s 54th birthday with the congregation raising their voices to recite the National Pledge and sing the National Anthem. Pastor Lawrence Lim also led the church in praying for the nation, and shared how the church is privileged to serve and show love for the community.
New Creation Worship also presented People Of Singapore, a song specially composed to celebrate the occasion. Majulah Singapura!
Later that evening, our council member, Deacon Matthew Kang received a token of appreciation on behalf of our church from Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Minister of State for National Development and Manpower at a grassroots event. We are glad to support our community and give to Marsiling Progress Class, an initiative that helps tutor children from low-income families.
