Christmas is the season for giving. Just as God in love gave us the greatest gift of all, our Lord Jesus Christ, our Gift Of Love initiative also seeks to serve and give to those around us in need, regardless of race or religion.

This year, working with various organisations in Singapore, we are reaching out to over 10,000 people with practical gifts like supermarket vouchers and grocery packs.

Across our borders, through local partners in Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, our Gift Of Love Global programme is also blessing over 15,000 people with food items and daily essentials.

Our Marsiling Gift Of Love event yesterday morning saw us give supermarket vouchers to over 1,400 underprivileged individuals and families. We welcomed guest of honour Mr Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence & Ministry of Manpower, who presented the gifts together with our church council member Deacon Matthew Kang and Pastor Lawrence Lim.

This Christmas season, we also get to be a blessing to the nations around Singapore. Through local partners in Cambodia, Myanmar, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam, our Gift Of Love Global programme is reaching out to over 15,000 families and individuals in need with food items and daily essentials.

We were especially glad to bring Christmas joy and gifts to touch the lives of many children living in slums, villages, and even a children’s hospital. We also got to provide prison inmates with a special meal and a gift.

The love of God knows no bounds! So privileged to be able to reach out to some 400 women inmates from Chiang Mai Women Correctional Institution through our local partners in Thailand. Many hearts were touched and ministered to through a time of singing, a shared testimony and a word of encouragement! There was also a game session and each person received a gift pack as a token of our love for them.
