Christmas ia a time for giving and we are excited that Gift Of Love, our initiative during this season to be a blessing to the underprivileged in the community, is back!

This year, our activities are reaching out to thousands in Singapore as well as many more in Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.

26 November 2022

We kicked off our activities at a lunch event in Buona Vista constituency where we presented supermarket vouchers to families and elderly living in rental flats. The children received gift vouchers for books and stationery too!

Church council member Deacon Matthew Kang and Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Education were also on hand to spread the Christmas cheer.

So glad we got to celebrate Christmas with some 200 people in the Northeast District at our Christmas Gift Of Love luncheon today! We enjoyed delicious food together and our guests received grocery vouchers from us too!

Church council member Deacon Matthew Kang and Pastor Lawrence Lim presented the gifts together with guest of honour Mr Desmond Tan, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office and other special guests.

Sharing the joy of Christmas with residents of Pioneer constituency! We got to meet over 100 families and individuals, with Pastor Lawrence Lim and Member of Parliament Mr Patrick Tay on hand to present our supermarket vouchers to them. So glad that we can share the practical love of Jesus with so many during this season.

4 December 2022

We brought our gifts of love, grocery vouchers for the less privileged in our community, to a Christmas dinner party in Ang Mo Kio-Hougang constituency! Over 200 guests were presented with these gifts by church council member Deacon Matthew Kang and Mr Darryl David, Member of Parliament, Ang Mo Kio Group Representation Constituency.

7 December 2022

Our annual Gift Of Love Global is back! Our first stop was at Batam, Indonesia where we worked with local partners to bless a group of pastors and unprivileged villagers with daily necessities and grocery packs.

14 December 2022

Our Gift Of Love initiative has expanded! This year, we embarked on a special Gift-A-Wish project to fulfil the wishes of some underprivileged individuals in our community.

One of them is Uncle Chan, who wanted to replace his faulty mobile phone but could not afford it. Three weeks ago, we brought him on a day out and made his wish come true!

Our volunteers set off to bless and pray for many seniors at various locations—at their homes and in active ageing centres. We also organised fun games for them at the centres and distributed snacks as well as vouchers for their daily needs.

We threw a Christmas party to appreciate the migrant workers in our midst. More than 400 joined in the celebrations and there were games, prizes and gifts galore. We also had an awesome time worshipping the Lord, and praise God for over 30 people who received Jesus as Lord and Saviour through the sharing of the word!

6 January 2023

Our volunteers spread the Christmas cheer to various nursing homes and a local community hospital! Over 3,000 staff and residents were blessed with refreshments and practical items during the festive season through our Gift Of Love initiative.

Our prison ministry volunteers celebrated Christmas with a local halfway house by welcoming the
residents over dinner, singing carols and ministering through a time of praise and worship. Praise Jesus that more than 10 residents received salvation on that day!

As part of our Gift Of Love Global programme, our local partners in Cambodia distributed gift packs at a prison and ministered to them through a sharing session.

We believe the Lord’s presence washed over them that day and touched many lives!

Our Gift Of Love Global efforts in Thailand consisted of evangelistic outreach dinners, home visitations, prison and orphanage visits, and Christmas celebrations at a local women’s correction centre.

Over 2,600 households and about 5,800 people were blessed and prayed for across 11 provinces. These people were mainly orphans, widows, prison inmates, the elderly, the bedridden, the blind and the needy.

Here is a quote from Grandma Siriren from Chiang Mai Province, who was bedridden but miraculously able to get out of bed on the day we visited: “I knew about Jesus already, but I am now reminded of how much Jesus loves me! I was very unwell, and now I am healed.”

All glory to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus!

Showing appreciation to migrant workers in our midst! Over the Christmas season, a team from our church visited a local dormitory to give grocery packs to some 500 workers living there.
